Teachers' Day
Celebrated Krishna Janmashtami
K.L.E Society’s Smt. C.B.Ranamode School, Athani, on 15 th August 2025, celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with devotion, colour, and enthusiasm. The festival, which marks the birth of Lord Krishna — the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu — was observed to instil in students an appreciation of India’s rich cultural traditions.
The programme began with the ceremonial placing of a beautifully adorned little Krishna in a floral-decorated swing, symbolising his arrival into the world. One of the most exciting moments was the traditional mataka-breaking event, recreating Krishna’s playful childhood habit of stealing butter, which was met with loud cheers from the crowd.
Adding to the festive spirit, pre-primary children performed graceful and lively dances depicting episodes from Krishna’s life, captivating the audience with their innocence and charm. Teachers explained the significance of Janmashtami, highlighting values such as devotion, humility, and the triumph of good over evil.
The celebration concluded with a joyful group photograph of the little Krishnas and Radhas, creating a lasting memory of the day.

K.L.E Society’s Smt. C.B. Ranamode school, Athani, on 15 th August 2025, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The programme began with a soulful patriotic song presented by the school choir that set the tone for the morning and followed by the photo pooja.
Our school Principal Mr. Jagadeesh Havaldar hoisted the National Flag amidst the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and unity. The march past by the scouts and guides, all house higher class students and they contingents showcased discipline and dedication.
The cultural segment was a highlight of the day, featuring a vibrant skit blending traditions from all regions of India, symbolising unity in diversity. This was followed by a gripping British and Kittur Rani Chennamma dialogue, where students dramatically re-enacted the bravery and defiance of the queen against colonial rule. A lively dance performance by the children added colour and energy to the celebrations.
During the prize distribution ceremony, meritorious students were honoured for their achievements in co-curricular activities. The Principal sir address to the children, encouraged them to uphold the values of freedom, responsibility, and service to the nation.
The celebration concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and commitment among students and staff to contribute towards a better India.
THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY - 2025
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025-26 was held with great pomp and dignity at KLE Society’s C. B. Ranamode School, Athani. The school hosted its annual Investiture Ceremony on 10 th July 2025. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Shree V.S Herakall Sir, ANO, C.S.K.H.S, Athani. Our respected principal, Shree Jagadeesh Havaldar Sir, and guest of honour Dr. Prashant Magadum Sir. The ceremony began with Goddess Saraswati pooja and Prayer song from ‘Heart Hackers’, our school choir group followed by watering the plant. The event was anchored by Shreya Kuragod a student KLE School, Athani, who skillfully guided the proceedings throughout the program.
The principal, Shree Jagadees Havaldar Sir, welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries. Followed by welcoming guests, the students of all four houses, Red, Blue, Yellow and Green participated in a March Past, showcasing their unity, discipline, and pride. Each house, led by their respective captains, marched in synchronization, earning admiration from the audience and creating a spirit of camaraderie.
The most awaited moment arrived as the Honour of Council Members commenced. The newly elected members of the Student Council were invited onto the stage,. This symbolic gesture marked the recognition of their leadership roles and responsibilities within the school. The ceremony advanced with the prime custom of bestowing badges and sashes by the Principal, Chief Guest, Guest of honour, House Masters and senior teachers, to the newly formed Council – Head Boy and Head Girl along with Sports, Discipline, CCA, House Captains and Vice captains. Donning the mantle of responsibility, they all pledge to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by rules and regulations of the Institute.
The Chief Guest then administered the Oath to the members of the Student Council. With hands raised in promise, the students pledged to uphold the values of the school and work with dedication and integrity towards the betterment of the school community.
The Speech by the Chief Guest was the highlight of the ceremony. The Chief Guest praised the students for their achievements and reminded them that leadership is about service, humility, and the ability to inspire others. The speech was filled with anecdotes and valuable lessons that resonated with both students and staff alike. Shree Prashant Magadum Sir, In his address, emphasized the importance of leadership and encouraged the students to strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
The Principal Shri Jagadeesh Havaldar Sir motivated the students and blessed them with his golden views which would help the students to make their vision clear for the achievement of their goal by performing their duties with full dedication. He then congratulated the newly elected Students’ Council and emphasised the significance of setting priorities and the need of the hour to be a team player. He reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the school stands for and urged them to take responsibility with commitment and integrity.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks. The investiture ceremony was a memorable event that instilled a sense of pride and responsibility among the student council members. . The ceremony concluded with national anthem.
Doctor’s Day, National Postal Workers Day and Kannada Press Reporters Day Celebration
K.L.E Society’s Smt. C.B Ranamode School Athani celebrated Doctors' Day, National Postal Workers Day and Kannada Press Reported Day on July 1 st , 2025. This day was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and acknowledge the vital contributions of these dedicated professionals. We were honored to have several dignitaries present.
Doctor’s Day is celebrated in India on July 1st to honor the contribution of physicians to society. The day began with a cultural event, showcasing the talents of students, and the school doctor, Vishal Nooli sir, delivered an inspiring address on the importance of health and self-care, highlighting the invaluable service that doctors provide in safeguarding lives. It was celebrated to recognize the selfless service, dedication, and sacrifices made by doctors and healthcare professionals in safeguarding lives.
National Postal Workers Day observed on July 1 st every year in India to honor the hard work and dedication of postal employees who ensure reliable communication and delivery services, especially in remote and rural areas. Uday Ugare, Head Post Master, spoke about various government initiatives designed to enhance postal services, particularly in rural areas. The main objective to celebrate National Workers Day was to acknowledge the vital role of postal workers in connecting people and supporting the nation’s communication infrastructure.
Kannada Press Reporter Day was also celebrated at school on July 1st to acknowledge the role of Kannada journalists and press reporters in promoting truth, transparency, and democracy through regional journalism. The Press Reporters Parashuram Nandeshwar, Annasaheb Telsang and Chandrashekhar Tevaratti, emphasized the significance of regional journalism.The main objective was to honour the courage and commitment of journalists working in the kannada language press. This meaningful occasion was beautifully anchored by Kumari Spoorti Daballi and Kumari Kriya Rathod, and our Principal, Jagadeesh Havaldar sir, graciously welcomed all the dignitaries and addressed the attendees about the importance of these special days. All teachers and students witnessed the function.
It was truly a day filled with learning, respect, and appreciation for the professionals who impact our lives significantly.

Athani, Belagavi, Karnataka – On June 12, 2025, K.L.E. Society's Smt. C. B. Ranamode School in Athani observed Child Labour Prohibition Day with a clear message: "Let us make a world where children are known for their dreams, not for their labour." The event aimed to raise awareness and inspire action against child labour, advocating for every child's right to education and a joyful childhood.
The celebration took place during the morning assembly, where students actively participated by showcasing thought-provoking posters and impactful slogans they had meticulously prepared. Their creative expressions powerfully underscored the urgent need to eradicate child labour. The event concluded with a group photograph of house members and students, symbolizing their collective spirit of unity and purpose in this important cause.
K.L.E. Society's Smt. C. B. Ranamode School, Athani Hosts Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program
Athani, Belagavi, Karnataka – On June 5, 2025, coinciding with Environment Day, K.L.E. Society's Smt. C. B. Ranamode School in Athani organized a "Sustainable Menstrual Hygiene Programme" for girls from grades 6th to 10th. The program, hosted by Dr. Varsharani Metri, aimed to educate students on crucial aspects of menstrual health and hygiene, with a particular focus on environmental sustainability.
The awareness program emphasized that "Hygiene is two thirds of health," underscoring the vital role of menstrual hygiene practices in the overall health and well-being of girls. Dr. Metri addressed the significant increase in the use of sanitary pads and the ongoing challenges associated with their access, affordability, and proper disposal. She highlighted how cultural taboos and limited knowledge often hinder the adoption of healthy menstrual hygiene habits.
A key focus of the program was the environmental impact of disposable sanitary products, which contribute significantly to global waste. Dr. Metri stressed the importance of ensuring women and girls have access to sustainable and quality menstrual products and improving the management of their disposal to make a substantial difference to the environment.
The program concluded with a strong message to the girls to consider alternatives to disposable sanitary pads. They were encouraged to avoid using sanitary pads and instead adopt soft cloth pads, which are reusable and increasingly available in the market. Additionally, Dr. Metri advised students to maintain a proper diet during their menstrual cycle to prevent deficiencies.
World Environment Day
On June 5, 2025, C. B. Ranamode School in Athani celebrated Environment Day with enthusiastic participation from the principal, faculty, and students.
The event, which commenced at 9:00 AM in the assembly area, began with a welcome address for the esteemed Principal, Mr. Jagadeesh Havaldar. Following prayers, the Red House children presented a captivating skit. Students then gifted plants to the school.
Principal Jagadeesh Havaldar addressed the gathering, sharing alarming facts about environmental degradation and its potential future consequences. He urged students to reduce plastic usage, specifically advising against plastic water bottles and lunchboxes. He also encouraged students to plant more trees, create school gardens to promote biodiversity and green spaces, and emphasized individual responsibility in maintaining a beautiful and clean environment.
The program concluded with a tree plantation drive. Principal Jagadeesh Havaldar, joined by SSMS College Principal Mr. Prashant, NSS and NCC students, class teachers, and class representatives, collectively planted and watered saplings.
Environment Day, observed globally on June 5th, aims to raise awareness about environmental protection and address critical issues such as global warming, overpopulation, pollution, and crimes against wildlife.

Athani, Karnataka – June 2, 2025 – K.L.E. Society's Smt. C.B. Ranamode School in Athani celebrated its school reopening ceremony for the 2025-26 academic year with immense enthusiasm and excitement. The school premises were beautifully decorated, and teachers made special efforts to create an inspiring and welcoming atmosphere for the students.
The eagerly anticipated day began with teachers gathering at the school entrance, showering students with flowers as they arrived. This warm welcome was followed by a Saraswati puja, seeking blessings for the new academic year. The lighting of diyas added a spiritual touch, fostering an atmosphere of tranquility and positivity. Students then participated in routine prayer activities.
New students received a special welcome from both teachers and Principal Mr. Jagadeesh Havaldar, who presented them with flowers as a symbol of growth and new beginnings. This gesture underscored the school's commitment to nurturing and fostering student development.

Father’s Day Celebration
Father’s Day was joyfully celebrated on 14th June 2025, at K.L.E Society’s Smt. C.B. Ranamode School, Athani. The event was dedicated to honouring fathers and father figures-those silent superheroes who are always there with their steady hands and warm hearts
The event started with watering the plant. The event followed by a song and dance which was dedicated to the fathers to show love and affection towards them. To mark this special day, the school organized a series of fun-filled games for fathers. The school campus buzzed with excitement as enthusiastic dads rolled up their sleeves and jumped into the games, creating joyful memories alongside their children.The children welcomed their fathers with handmade greeting cards—each one a colourful expression of love. To wrap up the celebration on a cheerful note, prizes were distributed to the winning fathers by their children, recognizing not only their playful spirit but also the beautiful bond they share
The highlight of the event was the presence of the chief guest, Mr. Amagond Khobri, who added a special spark to the celebration by performing a powerful dialogue of Ashwathama and Dr.Hanji sir recited a kavan on fathers.
It was a heart warming tribute to the love, guidance, and unwavering support that fathers give every single day—a celebration truly worth remembering.
KLE School Athani Celebrates Basava Jayanti with Enthusiasm

Athani, April 30, 2025 – KLE Society's Smt. C.B. Ranamode School in Athani enthusiastically celebrated Basava Jayanti today, honoring the birth anniversary and profound philosophy of Basavanna. This significant festival in India commemorates a renowned 12th-century philosopher, poet, and social reformer, widely considered the founder of the Lingayat religion. Basavanna is celebrated for his pivotal teachings on social equality, human rights, and the rejection of the caste system.
The day's celebration began with a photo pooja of Basavanna, performed by the Principal, all house masters, and HODs, marking a special occasion where everyone gathered to pay their respects. Athani, April 5, 2025 – KLE Society’s Smt C.B. Ranamode School in Athani today marked Jagjivan Ram Jayanti, honoring the birth anniversary of Babu Jagjivan Ram, widely known as "Babuji." A key figure in India's independence movement, a dedicated politician, and a social reformer, Jagjivan Ram was India's longest-serving Union Cabinet minister, holding various portfolios for three decades and tirelessly advocating for the rights of marginalized communities.
The celebration began with a photo puja of Jagjivan Ram, performed by Principal Shri Jagadeesh Havaldar, joined by house masters, deputy house masters, and HODs. KLE Society's Smt. C.B. Ranamode School Athani Hosts Successful Skating Mini Marathon
Athani, April 13, 2025 – KLE Society's Smt. C.B. Ranamode School in Athani successfully organized a Skating Mini Marathon today. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students in the Under 10, 12, and 14 categories for both girls and boys, many of whom bagged prizes for their performance.
The marathon was witnessed by School Principal Shri Jagadeesh Havaldar and numerous proud parents, who cheered on the young skaters.

Celebrated Independence Day on 15th August, 2019, i.e. on Thursday. The Chief Guest of the function was Incharge Principal Mr. K.R.B Patil, all the staff and students were present. The program began with patriotic song which was sung by School Choir. The photo pooja of the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was performed by Incharge Principal and all school Incharges. The students performed March Past and honored National Flag. The heart of the function was honouring Our Tri- Colour, School Incharge Principal Mr. K.R.B Patil hoisted National Flag. We felicitated one of the Indian brave Ex-soldiers Mr Iragouda Rudragoudar on this occasion.
Our School parents witnessed this function they dressed up their children in various freedom fighters. These freedom fighters were the centre of the attraction of the function. The function was celebrated with a grand success.
“A great man is always a man of mighty effort”. As we all know Dr. Prabhakar Koreji is kind hearted and also known for his selfless service to the mankind. On the eve of birthday celebration of our honourable Chairman Shri. Dr. Prabhakar Koreji, KLE Society’s smt. C.B. Ranamode School, Athani organized Sports Meet for the parents of I to V std as a mark of love and respect towards him.
In the school ‘Parents Sports Meet’, was conducted and students shared views on which purpose event is held and also about his achievements and contributions towards the society. Program was presided by I/C Principal Mr. K.R.B.Patil along with Rotarian Shrikant Athani as a chief guest. He shared his views on organization of sports for the special event and his relationship with KLE School, Athani. The day’s events were concluded with the valedictory function where parents were honored with certificates and prizes.
Celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas to mark the 20th anniversary of victory in ‘Operation Vijay’, the Kargil War on July 26, 2019 at sharp 9am. Kargil Vijay Diwas is the day of pride for the Nation in general. It is the day to remember the martyrs, rejoice their sacrifices and strengthen the resolve of the armed forces to the cause of the Nation. Ex - Servicemen Mr. Shivamallappa Kulali, Mr. Shrishail Maning Hospet, and present Indian Soldier Mr. Shankar Jare were decorated the function with their gracious presence. The family members of Martyrs' were Mrs. Godavari Padnad and Mr. Adinath Padnad, mother and brother of martyr Bharatesh Padnad respectively, Mrs. Rajashree Suryavanshi, wife of martyr Vijay Suryavanshi, Mrs. Mahadevi Chougala and Mr. Prakash Chougala, mother and brother of martyr Basappa Chougala respectively. The above all respective dignitaries were welcomed and felicitated by the Incharge Principal Mr. KRB Patil and the School Incharges.
On the occasion, Mr. Shrishail Maning Hospet, Ex - Serviceman said that we are safe and comfortable it is only because of our soldiers. They sacrifice their lives for the sake of our Nation. The Incharge Principal, Mr. KRB Patil addressed that we should remember our brave hearts on this occasion and pay homage to them. Indian soldiers are famous for their valor in the world. The complete programme aims to re-enthuse the confidence towards security forces and also to work as a catalyst to motivate youth to join the Armed Forces. The students performed March past and prepared a photo gallery on Kargil Soldiers. All the staff and members were present in the function.
Celebration of International Yoga Day

The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2019 at K.L.E Society's Smt. C.B.Ranamode School Athani to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success to every soul in the world. This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline. Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day. Children got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body. The function was presided over by Yog Guru Mr. Shrishail Patil and Mr. Shivaputra Yadawad and felicitated them by the School Incharges. The Incharge Principal Mr. K.R.B Patil was addressed the students and teachers and spoke the significance and practice of Yoga in our life. The Yoga was begun from June 14 to 21, 2019 at school for all the students under the guidance of Mr. Shrishail Patil, Mr. Shivaputtra Yadawad and Ex-student of the school Kumari Vaishali Mathapati. Awesomeness of Yoga Drill was performed by the students of Red, Blue, Yellow and Green Houses.
Our school students of classes V to X std. and all the teachers performed Yoga between 5:45 am to 7:30 am at Bhojaraj Ground, organized by Patanjali Yog Peeth Athani. Different yoga postures like Vrikshasana, Uttaanaasana, Trikonaasana, Bhadrasana, Shashankaasana, Bhujangasana, Pawanasana Muktaasana.
“World Environment Day Celebration”

Celebrated ‘World Environment Day’ on June 6, 2019 i.e On Thursady with great pomp and enthusiasm. The function was begun sharp at 9:15am with melodious prayer song by the school choir group. The Day’s Chief Guests of the function were Mr. Prashant Gourani, Range Section Officer of Forest Department, Athani and Mr. S.M. Munji, Section Officer of the Forest Department, Athani present with great hallucination for the function and welcomed them by the School Incharges.
The Yellow House students performed a innovative skit to spread awareness about World Environment Day and also they gave message to the society the importance of environment for the today’s generation through their skit. The chief guest Mr. Prashant Gourani spoke about the burning problem of Global Warming and conservation of water and trees as it is essential. Later, Mr. K.R.B Patil addressed the function and said that reason behind the increase of high temperature in the town.
